UNION PRESIDENT
- Pr. Kajoba Samuel
Pr. Kajoba Samuel is an experienced church administrator, pastor, and educator with over 31 years of service in teaching, Pastoral ministry, and Executive leadership within the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is married to Margaret Kajoba, and together they have six children.
He holds a Bachelor of Theology from Bugema University, Uganda, and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology from the Adventist University of Africa, Nairobi. His academic journey also includes studies at Lakeside College and CHWA II Memorial College.
Pr. Kajoba began his career in education as a licensed primary school teacher and later served as Deputy Headmaster and School Chaplain. He went on to provide Pastoral and Administrative leadership as District Leader in both Masuliita and Najjanankumbi districts.
At the organizational level, he served as Stewardship and Development Director for the Central Uganda Conference, followed by his appointment as Ministerial Director at the Uganda Union Mission. From 2016 to August 2025, he served as Executive President of the Central Uganda Conference, where he provided strategic leadership and oversight for mission growth and institutional development
UNION EXECUTIVE SECRETARY
- Pr. Bitamazire Nicholas
Pr. Bitamazire Nicholas Birigwa is the Executive Secretary of the Uganda Union Mission, having joined the leadership team in November 2023. He brings over 14 years of experience in education, Pastoral ministry, and academic leadership.
Pr. Bitamazire is married to Rachael Nakibuuka, and together they have five children: Elizabeth, Priscila, Julia, Benjamin, and Mishael.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics & Mathematics from Makerere University, a Bachelor of Theology from Bugema University, and a Master of Arts in Religion from the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (Philippines). He is currently pursuing his Doctoral Studies at the Adventist University of Africa, Kenya, and has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Adventist History and Ellen G. White Studies from Andrews University, USA (2025).
Pr. Bitamazire’s career spans teaching, pastoral work, and higher education leadership, including roles as Teacher, School Chaplain, Associate Pastor, Acting District Leader, and Lecturer at Bugema University. His diverse experience combines academic rigor with practical ministry, making him a dynamic leader in the Uganda Union Mission.
UNION EXECUTIVE TREASURER
- Elder Isaac Lyadda
Elder Isaac Lyada is the Executive Treasurer of the Uganda Union Mission, bringing over 12 years of experience in church treasury and financial management.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting & Finance all from Bugema University His early education includes UCE from Kakoro Adventist Secondary School and UACE from Eastern Vision College, Kakoro.
Elder Lyada has served in key treasury roles, including:
Accountant & Acting Field Treasurer – Eastern Uganda Field (May 2013 – Dec 2015)
Field Treasurer – Eastern Uganda Field (Jan 2016 – May 2024)
Field Treasurer – Mid-Eastern Uganda Field (June 2024 – August 2025)
With over a decade of dedicated service, he provides strategic financial oversight, stewardship, and accountability, ensuring effective management of church resources across the Uganda Union Mission.
ASSOCIATE TREASURER
- Susan Senabulya
Susan Senabulya previously held the portifolio of Assistant Treasurere . She brings with her a wealth of experience from Bugema University where she was a Deputy Vice Chancellor Finance before joining the Union in 2024. Her study life has been in Bugema from Primary to University and is pursuing a Certified Public Accountant stature. She is married to Mr. Senabulya with three children.

WOMEN & ASI
Lillian Mugerwa Bikongolo
Lillian Mugerwa Bikongolo is the leader of Women Ministries and responsible for Adventist Lay-Men Services and Industries (ASI). She joined Uganda Union in 2021. Lillian is married to Medson Mugerwa and blessed with 2 children. She is completing a Masters degree in Education studies.
YOUTH/CHILDREN/MUSIC
Mrs. Esther Waisswa
Esther Waiswa leads the biggest chunk of Adventist members (Youth). Esther joined Uganda Union in 2015 and is married to Waiswa Musa and blessed with 3 children. She holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology with several certifications under her arm!
SABBATH SCHOOL/PERSONAL MINISTRIES/EVANGELISM/AMR
Pr. David Mpande
Pr. Mpande comes to the Union with an experience of mission work having led Central Uganda Conference as evangelism director for the last 5 years
Health Ministries Director
Ms. Lydia Komugisha
Madam Lydia Komugisha is the current Director for Health and Strategic Planning at Uganda Union Mission.
She has served in various capacities in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She has been the Executive Director Ishaka Adventist Hospital 2017-2024 and earlier been a Programs Officer at Uganda Union Mission 2010 -2016.
Lydia holds several certifications including Bachelors in Social Work and Social Administration, Post Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Masters in Public Health.

Pr. Ntuulo Hannington
Pr. Ntuulo Hannington joins the Union from East Buganda Field where he has served as Executive Secretary since the field inauguration in June 2024.
CHAPLAINANCY/PUBLIC CAMPUS MINISTRIES (PCM)/PRISON MINISTRIES
Pr. Ssalongo Caleb Mbabaali
Pr. Ssalongo Caleb Mbabaali joins the Union from Bugema University where he has served as Chaplain since 2023.
STEWARDSHIP/CHURCH DEVELOPMENT
Pr. Musonera Junior Jason
Pr. Musonera Junior Jason brings extensive pastoral and administrative experience to this role, having served previously as Director of Stewardship, Development, Planned Giving, and Trust Services at the South Western Uganda Field and in various chaplaincy positions. He is academically grounded with training in Conservation Biology and Theology, and currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies (Old Testament), Pr. Musonera is deeply committed to biblical stewardship, spiritual growth, and sustainable church development. He is Married to Nakibuule Apophia and together they are blessed with 2 sons
PUBLISHING/SPIRIT OF PROPHECY/VOICE OF PROPHECY
Pr. Mutwanga Ezekiel
Pr. Mutwanga Ezekiel is another leader who has moved form local District leader in Western Uganda to be Bishop of Rwenzori Field and currently serves as the Director of Publishing, Spirit of Prophecy and Voice of Prophecy Departments at Uganda Union Mission. Pr. Mutwanga is married to Biira Mary and they are blessed with 4 children. He holds a Masters in Pastoral Theology from Adventist University in Africa.
Communication Director/PARL/Adventist Possibility Ministries
Mr. Kugonza Isaac
Kugonza Isaac is a seasoned journalist and media professional and an award winning local filmmaker with over 15 years of experience in television production, news reporting, and cinematography. He holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity University and a Bachelor’s degree from Makerere University, he has worked with leading media houses such as Hope Channel Uganda, NTV Uganda, Spark TV and Redpepper in various roles, including Manager, producer, video editor, and news director and Reporter. He is Married to Namyalo Nashiba.

Dr. Kibaya joins the Union with broad education knowledge from Bugema University where he has been the Dean for School of Education.
